    Wimberley
Bluegrass Band

Picture
Wimberley Bluegrass Band is comprised
entirely of four teenage siblings based in Southern California!

Danielle Wimberley (age 19) plays the
mandolin and is a Weber Instruments endorsed artist; James Wimberley (18) is a Deering Banjos endorsed artist and plays banjo; Mark Wimberley, his twin, is a Black Diamond Strings endorsed artist and plays guitar; and Michael Wimberley (14) plays the fiddle.  They all sing, with Michael usually taking the lead and the others singing that tight harmony unique to family groups.

Wimberley Bluegrass Band provides fun and wholesome musical entertainment, and strives to keep the traditional sounds of bluegrass music alive and well by taking it to new audiences!

They have performed at such noted venues as Winter NAMM, The Echo in Los Angeles, CA, the Main Stage at the Orange County Fair, CA, the Jimmy Driftwood Barn in Mountain View, AR, and Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO -- just to name a few.

They have also performed at many Bluegrass festivals in Southern California, such as the Parkfield Bluegrass Festival and the Huck Finn Jubilee; and they were the headlining band at the Big Bear Bluegrass Festival in 2012.

They take their lead from the likes of Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Del McCoury, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Dailey & Vincent, and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver.
